Frequently Asked Questions

**Extractive** summarization (what our tool does) picks the best existing sentences from your text. **Abstractive** summarization generates entirely new sentences to explain the concept. Extractive is generally more accurate for factual documents because it uses your original words.

Our current frequency-based algorithm is optimized for English. While it may work for other Latin-based languages, the accuracy is highest when processing English text.

For best results, we recommend using at least 100 words. If the text is too short, there aren't enough "data points" for the algorithm to accurately distinguish between key and filler sentences.
